Everyone has sinned. Sin is anything we do that God has told us not to do. Sin is those bad things that make God sad. The Bible says that everyone has sinned. Have you ever sinned? The bible tells us "For all have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God" (Romans 3:23). This means that all of us have sinned, grown ups and children. Sin has to be punished or paid for.
The Bible tells us that the payment for sin is death in hell. Hell is a terrible place created for the devil and his demons. It's a place where we can never see mom or dad or any relatives. Think about where your mom or dad works. At the end of the week your mom or dad gets money for the job that they do. The money is what they get paid, or it's the payment, for the work that they do. Well, there is a payment for sin too! Romans 6:23 says that the payment for sin is death in hell. That's terrible, we have a big problem! You and I just said that we are sinners and now the Bible tells us that the price we have to pay for our sins is death in hell! That's terrible isn't it. . . BUT. ..
Jesus died for your sins. How did Jesus die? Jesus lived a perfect life, He never sinned, yet He suffered a very painful death. He had to die that way so that He could pay for our sins. What happened after He died? Did He stay dead?" 1 Cor 15:3,4 says, ". . .Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:" Do you believe that Jesus died for your sins and rose again on the third day?"
Jesus gave us this special gift, of dying on the cross for our sins because He loves us and wants us to spend forever with Him in heaven.
You can explain that receiving Jesus Christ is as easy as ABC! You know your ABCs don't you!
Admit you are a sinner!
Believe that Jesus died, was buried, and rose again for you.
Call upon Jesus to save you.
You can call on Jesus simply by bowing your head and praying to Him "Jesus, I am a sinner, I believe that you lived a perfect life and died, were buried, and rose again to forgive my sins. Please Jesus forgive my sins and help me to follow after You"

We have many exciting programs available for children that want to come and worship with us here at MHC on Sundays, Wednesdays, and even during the summer:
Children from birth through 5 years old remain in their classes for both Sunday School and Worship.
Children who are in grades 1st-3rd participate in the first part of the Sunday morning worship service, and are then dismissed during the service to go to Children's Church.
Children's Church teaches them to worship through singing, praying and listening to a story prepared for their age level.
There are classes for each age level based on the child's date of birth for nursery through kindergarten and by grade level for first through sixth grade.
All of the curriculum emphasizes worship, knowledge, prayer and life application.
Our purpose is to lovingly teach children to know God through Jesus Christ, to give them insights into how to apply God's Word in their lives, and to give them the opportunity to accept Christ as their personal Savior.
AWANA is a structured program offering Bible memorization, games and a clear Bible message.
Game Time: Creating a team spirit through fun and exciting games. Each child participates in the games on a select team of kids their age.
Handbook Time: The kids memorize Bible verses at home with their parent's help and then present them to a caring listener on AWANA night. The children are given special awards for memorization which they wear on their uniforms.
Counsel Time: A more serious time of hearing God's Word through a story of God's love.
